Boston '04
Well
I have finally made it to my one year anniversary of going to cons
^^ Isn't that great? I guess I'm no longer a n00b anymore XD
This
year was certainly lots of fun. I got to spend most of my time
with my awesome ParaKiss group. Everyone was so nice! I hadn't met
any of them before; so it was all certainly a surprise to see what
they were like. Though some times were hectic and we lost each other,
everything worked out great! At the masq we took Best in Show
Group Craftsmanship. So amazing~ Warumono actually cried; I was so happy
for her. I know the work it takes to organize a group; she deserved
it.
One
thing i really loved was TyJILDown's B-day party - It was teh awesomest.
At
nights I got to be with Katie and Ali back at my dorm - how convienient
not
to
have
to
have
a hotel
room! We stayed up watching Bebop and eating and chatting a bunch.
So much silly goofiness. When we had decided on the chicken dance
as a skit - that was the best - that and climbing over a fence in
dresses to get home XD It was a sight to see.
Personal
Sadness:
the masq was so-so; there really should have been more skits. It
was kinda boring - i was enjoying watching the AMVs during intermissions
^^; Friday morning was the worst for me: I lost all of my Bell accessories
(earrings,
shoes, necklaces, beads, gloves - all gone) It was awful. Therefore,
my bangs weren't styled and I was grumpy. I really wanted to meet
the group members too! There was a Welsper too! Also, I think our
AMG photoshoot could have been run better. I don't think
any
of us were the leader type; so we snapped some shots then left.
Big
Downfalls: I cannot wait to have AB at the Hynes! People are spread
out everywhere and so its A) easy to lose people B) it doesn't look
like anyone is at the con. Though the Castle was nice because it
was bigger - it was a pain to get to. Also, i stayed
at my dorm, but i don't know anyone who was pleased with the rooms
at the Park Plaza. Its not as though the rooms had to be classy -
but many complained about things being broken and the rooms not being
cleaned properly. ew. XP
Good
things: AB was certainly run better this year. Things simply ran smoother!
It seemed everyone on staff knew what was going on. Good for them.
Hopefully next year will be an even greater success.

coolest
Arashi
(Mark,
you rock) and getting to be his "girlfriend" -also meaning
no fanboys!, hiding underneath Katie's children-eating dress, meeting
RyuichiNG,
Bluedragon, and Lindze, and seeing old friends like (bring on the
shout-outs) NeoAngelWink, Lialia, Andre, TyJILDown, Halo, Rhi-chan,
AnimeChicky and AnnaNeko.
